For the explorers and actively adventurous, there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding areas.  The Inn is just up the road from the Village of Bemus Point on beautiful Chautauqua Lake and the internationally recognized Chautauqua Institution is just minutes away. The Inn is also close to Jamestown, NY the birthplace of famous comedian Lucille Ball and home to the Lucy and Desi museum. Jamestown is also the home to the Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History. Named in honor of native son and America’s preeminent naturalist of the twentieth century, Dr. Peterson. Another close by point of interest is the Victorian Village of Lillydale, center for spiritual research and psychic channeling. Your hosts at the Inn, Donna and Steve, are happy to assist you in planning activities during your stay. They are always glad to help with directions, give insight into the area and recommend some fine dining destinations.

The Chautauqua Lake region offers a wide variety of things to do for the adventurous and for those that like to take it a little slower.
